"Our New Lion King!"

Every now and then someone comes into your life and captures your heart! This handsome fellow came into our lives this past summer. What an absolute doll. (Hope he doesn't get a complex from being called a doll, but he is one.) Check out the dreamy eyes. He has a HUGE love quota to fill every day, needing to give away major affection morning and night. Hope you enjoy the next few pictures of our new found friend.

"Yesterday's Memories" Watercolor on paper

Memories of Grandma's house are something I will always treasure. She always had open arms, and a smile. She laughed alot, small wonder she always had company. Her house was a house of joy. She had so many grandchildren and still made each one feel like you were her one and only. She is no longer here on earth, but this painting reminds me of her. I loved that screen door, that let all the fresh air in, and you could hear the birds sing in her kitchen. She would have flowers and bouquets everywhere. This one's for you Grandma!

"Ma Soeur" 12 X 36 Mixed Media on canvas

Several months ago I worked on a series called "Funky Women" They are all done on 12 x 36 canvas. I love women and think they have soooo much to offer the world. "Ma Soeur" is French for "My Sister". We are a sisterhood of women arising to fulfill our destiny. This beautiful bride awaits her bridegroom. She is all dressed up for whatever the future has for her!

"Small Section of my Gallery Wall"

Welcome to my new world. Earlier this summer, my family relocated to a Country Haven. I now have the Studio of my dreams, gleaming in the morning sun, over looking lush fields. The walkout basement is perfect with its huge Gallery walls. To the west we have a panoramic view of the Rocky Mountains, dripping with this white icing that we call snow! I absolutely love the fact that we have 4 wonderful seasons here, each brings with it a beauty of its own! I am blessed, beyond measure. In this section of one of my walls, you will see Encaustic, Scratching, Oil, Smashed Tile Mosiac, acrylic and Mixed Media.
